When I was a youngin, I had the power boat and a wife and 2 small boys... the power boat was certainly more practical! Then the kiddos got older, my wife left (without the powerboat OR the boys) I eventually got remarried into a Brady bunch situation and then got the sailboat. The kids liked it up until they got to be adolescents, then it was time for Mom and Dad to do the sailing... now THAT was fun (we followed the Tall Ships through the Bay bridge into Annapolis, as I remember it!) Then with 4 teenagers, became impossible so got rid of it. After the next BK (starts the 17th of May or there abouts) we will have enough $$$ to buy the island, boat and maybe even some gas for the boat. <ggggggg>
