Bosco - Thank you for that post on Succession Network. My understanding, from what I have read about Nortel's statements, is that the key element in Succession is the call server. That is, the call server is proprietary and cannot be copied. The press release states:

The Succession Call Server enables the delivery of a full suite of existing telephony services over a packet infrastructure.

Can somebody else educate me further on what a call server is and what role the call server plays in an integrated network.
