Ericsson Sees Lower '99 EPS, Even Excluding Costs

STOCKHOLM, May 7 (Reuters) - Swedish telecoms group Ericsson said on Friday its 1999 earnings per share would be somewhat lower in 1999 than in 1998, even excluding net restructuring costs of 1.5 billion crowns ($180.2 million) this year.

Ericsson's chief financial controller Johan Fant gave Reuters the information -- which takes recent profit warnings from the group one step further -- told Reuters.
