Options expiry May 21.
My opinion is that the influence of options expiry (ex. "it'll close at or very close to 25/27.5/30, etc.", i.e. at or near a strike price) and MM manipulation (particularly on the NYSE, which is an auction market, where you can see the bid and ask, and there are no market makers, only specialists) is vastly overstated. I think the big factor in determining share price is simply supply and demand (and ain't that a dumb, obvious statement on my part!), not these more esoteric issues.
