Re : I haven't noticed a torrent of critical info. flowing from the oldtimers of late

You know, I have noticed the same thing.

But, I think it is simply a case of "the (stupid) stock market is finally beginning to recognize the story on Qualcomm, so I (personally) do not have to "slave away" trying to "spread the word" on QCOM the way I used to" (?)

Jon.

Thank you Dave, It's to bad Milehigh left too, I know him well, very up standing and good source of information. There is world outside the QCOM thread, many investors on SI have it together. The family Q should be color blind, and welcome them as long as they are civil. You all might learn something along the way. So be nice and open minded.

Greg

Dave,

I don't think new comers are attacked at all, just those who think the world needs to know they purchased 12 shares for $20 on any given day and made 1/16 of a whole dollar. Many of these posters also happen to believe God's last name is spelled D-E-L-L. Don't forget Gregg P is a relatively new poster here. I don't think he feels unwelcomed.

Now back to business. I am just wondering what we should feel as shareholders? Options and vestings are employment benefit contracts. My question is simple. If these departing employees have their vesting accelerated, is that fair to the employees who are staying? Furthermore, let say employee XX is in her second yr of a five year vesting plan, is she not going to have a plan with ERICY? If she gets her 5 yr full vesting now and start ERICY's plan when the sale is completed, she just got an extra 3 years worth of compensation.

Any HR experts out there? I did work in this arena when HR was known as personnel. I assume most of you are too young to remember the term.
