The major trend is up and it has a down sloping flag formation now which is all consistent with a continuation of the trend.
Technical analysis is no panacea, but it does offer one a little hand holding. Just think about it: an upward trend means more people believe in a stock. And it will take something fairly significant to dissuade them. And the longer it continues the more difficult it becomes to dissuade the herd. I'm sure there are still a lot of people out there who are convinced that Dell will never disappoint them.

OK, one neck stuck out (not very far). COMS is trapped narrowly between
two moving averages and is trying to correct a short-term overbought
condition. There is NO tip-off as to whether the next move is up or
is down. If you see COMS at 27, the move is up, at 24 it is down:
askresearch.com
Remember though, any FA news like announcement of a merger (or one that
says no merger) will overrule any TA.
