I adored fairy tales as well. Remember the fairy books that were different colors? And some of the Russian fairy stories that went on and on?

I too read the Hardy Boys! And Tom Swift! And even Tarzan and Bomba the Jungle Boy. I had a brother so maybe that's why, and like Edwarda, I just read everything that was around-- I don't think my parents had a clue what I was doing and I read an awful lot of things I probably had no business reading late at night under the covers with a flashlight.
(And I think I AM your generation!)
