I like the HMO we have. Four surgeons tried to bill 1900.00 for my "partial hip removal." Not incl the anesthesia guy. It took 20 mins, and one guy was working, and a bunch of people were standing there laughing at my jokes. They might have been standing outside the OR door and hitched a fee ride. Really pisses me off. The HMO took one girl's fee of 1978.00 and paid her 197.00 instead.

Total bullshit, honey.

I was paying cash the first 7 years of my illnesses, and I'm still paying the debt.

I feel like punching those assholes.

I should bill each of them for a kickback.

This little deal cost something like 14,000.00 Pure bullshit. I don't like people like that, and I don't think they're entitled to our medical monies. I'll drill my own goddam holes, for that. I feel guilty consuming the services. I don't like being the attached cause of a ripoff.

Two grand is an awful lot for a 20 minute surgery, anyway. But 8?

It's theft, baby. Get away from me.

I wonder what the HMO would think of a vid tape of that beer bust.
