Not sure, dave. Not familiar with ITVU, but I do know the music industry, now, and video (tv and Movies) are scrambling for efficient ways to compress and encode their products so that they can be sold online while at the same time protecting their copyrights.

I think their goal is to get rid of the physical CD and Videotape. Think of all the money saved in both producing and shipping those.
