I wonder how many adults subscribe to AOL and it is their FIRST EXPOSURE to using a PC?
I wonder if these same people know the difference between 28K and 56K modems?
AOL is for beginners, and there ALOT of them out there, faster access will come in time.

a simplistic view:
checked into @home installation.....seemed expensive to me. also have to deal with installation, etc. with phone jack in every room of most houses, dsl seems the way to go. aol seems to have the pulse of the masses....seems most will be willing to wait for "faster" as long as it's simple and cheap.
