Yes. That is correct.

Amazon is honest about what they can and cannot do. In over 50 orders from them, over the years, they have never sent me an email saying "Oops, sorry, we can't process the order in the time interval promised". Barnesandnoble.com has done this to me three times, out of about six orders.

The problem is that is takes Barnesandnoble a while to send the email saying they cannot deliver in the time they advertised. Usually by the time you get the notice, it is too late to buy it elsewhere.
