Did you look at the card with the ATI chip on it?
The DVD part was a on a daughter card attached to the graphics card. As I recall the DVD chip was sandwiched between the two.

Note you can see the daughtercard attached to the graphics card in the slot at the left rear corner of the mother board, but not enough to make out anything.
