Mark....the short funds weren't covering on this rally in gold. Now in't that something? They must have either been stupid not to cover on the way up or they knew what was coming from BC's suck up Tony Blair. Looks like Tony took over for Monica. -s- Today they are covering...that is the rise you see in NY gold.

Lest ye forget, that announcement by England to sell gold will be preceded by MANY others who desire to sell their own gold while the selling is still good.

That's the ultimate leverage that CB sales of gold have. And combine that with potential sales of gold by the Swiss, you get the one.. two punch.

And these gold sales are not paper sales. They are selling physical gold. The same gold that is being minted into those Y2K collector coins and Gold Eagles.

Increase the physical quantity of gold and any short squeeze is SEVERELY undermined.
