Don't worry, you will not be screwed. The market is rigged, but not that bad. -g- The record date for a stock split applies to registered shares, that is shares in your name for which you actually have a physical stock certificate. Your shares are in your brokerage under the "street name" and you will get the additional split shares credited to your account on the effective date.
