Ramsey, i am really scratching my head as to why so much importance is bestowed upon the employment data. this is after all a lagging indicator and as such has no predictive value. it's just a fad, as was money supply growth in the 70's and 80's. and i tend to agree with your assessment of the value of TA compared to fundamental analysis. by the time fundamental data arrive the major moves in the market have usually already occurred. the recent move in oil illustrates this fact most vividly. had one listened to the fundamentalists when the rally was in it's infancy one would have missed out on a major profit opportunity. regards, hb
