The fund manager is still on CNBC as I type. Why don't you call him and ask him why he would buy it for his own acct. but not his fund.

The market is real bearish today. Good news seems to do little.

Maybe the parameters of the fund don't include tech or whatever, of course, then he should of said couldn't instead of wouldn't.

Depends on type of Fund,he manages. 3COM might not be in the type fund category for him to purchase the stock with other peoples money and fund's objectives........ .
