Not so Richard. The breakout was predicated on a weekly close above 81. Some may have anticipated that event, but what a difference a day makes. look for POG to head lower next week as there will be fewer shorts to cover.

Richard: TA works very well, however, it is an art form as much as a science and few have mastered combining those two aspects into one very powerful tool. If you remember, about one week ago, I posted an analysis of the XAU by a very powerful Elliot Wave program. The findings were pretty conclusive, a move above 87 would be needed to indicate the beginning of an impulse wave. If such a wave had unfolded, you could consider that a breakout. We came close but no cigar. Those damn 8000 tonnes again. Ken
