Tad - Re: "An axe is a wonderful thing to grind. - Tad LaFountain"

Thank you for TOUTING & HYPING AMD - to support your STRONG BUY recommendation at $27.

Keep it up - you serve as a superb model for the Securities Analysts.

Careful - don't cut yourself on that axe.

He does grind and wield it so well, does he not?

He is, after all, the thread clown. To think of him otherwise, I would submit, is an error. To take him seriously is frequently also an error. Under that fecal exterior there actually lurks a relatively active intellect which occasionally shows some merit; however, you have to put up with so much abuse to obtain anything of merit that most have given up.

"PAST PERFORMANCE IS NO GUARANTEE OF FUTURE RESULTS"

This old disclaimer/cliche may help to explain what is going on at AMD now. AMD almost always disappoints; this time they may surprise positively and there are several areas for such possible surprises: earnings expectations are very low, virtually everyone expects delays in the introductions of the various embodiments of the K-7, the Dresden facility is almost universally expected to come on late (and it almost certainly will) If any of these become positive surprises the stock could react very positively in a very sudden manner.

It is also very possible that nothing good is happening at AMD. The stock has just managed to eek out a good looking chart and shorts are getting squeezed: God bless them.

If anyone has any insights or real light to shed here, please share it with me et al.

Regards,

DARBES

I am not a short term trader of any skill. I only know how to buy and to hang on in great pain if I believe that the outlook continues to look good when compared to the then current stock price. This can be a highly dynamic set of evaluations. The overhead supply here should be formidable given the dramatic drops and trading patterns when AMD was last in the twenties.

Any guesses as to when the march or marches of the "LEMMINGS" should start?
