Actually a pretty good day for bks all things considered. Another weak day for the nets but bks is up anyway. Volume is still low but that's ok. I think next week should be relabeled Barnes and Nobles Week. IMO we should definitely start to fly on big volume next week. At least a million shares. 40 is looking more and more certain. In fact, I now feel a little more optimistic and if we get a couple of nice announcements and/or upgrades then we could see a spike to 45. I don't know whether we could hold above 45 but at least one spike up there seems like a decent bet. I just hope that bks public relations has planned this upcoming week perfectly. This week is when they will earn their money for the whole year. We should know exactly when the roadshow actually starts next week by a nice jump in volume (and hopefully the price as well, of course 8^). I'll be happy with a point a day for next week. Shouldn't be too long before the price of bks passes amzn. amzn will fight like hell to maintain 100, but once it breaks that milestone, look for a free fall thereafter. I wondered why bks would want to dilute their stake in bnbn by selling half to bertelsman but apparently the combo has amzn quaking in its boots. So maybe it was a good move anyway.

Lately there have been a lot of articles about how we are really down to the bottom of the barrel in terms of all these ridiculous internet IPO's. So that's a huge plus for bnbn. bnbn is going to stand out like Michael Jordan playing in a high school intramural basketball game. Expect lots of press coverage. And amzn cratering just makes it that much more fun. Plus I show the last trade today was at the pyschologically important 36 level. We may not ever see the 35's again. Have a great weekend everyone!
