When i sold PBX/ACD's, the call center was the least understood element of the information system. Terminals and telephones; cost center; lots of phone calls; customer complaints; high turnover of agents; we will fix the problem with EDI; ooo, the 800 phone bill is so high; we really don't get that many calls; the president called in and was put on hold, he was angry................

Just loved turning around these perceptions.
