NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- A group of companies including Starbucks
Coffee Co. has invested $20 million in Talk City Inc.
Starbucks (SBUX) joins General Electric Co.'s (GE) National
Broadcasting Co., Hearst Corp., and Cox Enterprises Inc. as investors.
Talk City, a provider of online communities and interactive services,
filed last week with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an
initial public offering.
