And I Rande truly appreciate your thoughts and especially your writing style - Wish I could write like that but I never graduated college - too busy with the ladies and the market.

Some random thoughts on Multipath Movies...

Rande, Kevin, or anyone else, have you seen the movie "The Game" with Michael Douglas? Douglas is essentially trapped in a realm where different conflicts arise, and the results of those conflicts are dependent upon his choices. I really liked this movie and see multiple similarities between it and these new multipath movies. Most importantly is the suspense and the thought provoking nature of the movie. I believe these multipath deals will be a hit just like "The Game" was.

Secondly, I'd like to share what I feel is the number one competitive advantage of this product. Take away the relationship with Intel, take away the 6 mil private placement, forget about the mgmt for a moment... IMO, the number one reason why these things will sell is because for every time you 'chose your own adventure' the outcome is different than it had been previously (up and until a limited number of replays). This is not like some role playing video game where once you've beaten the master the game is over and left to sit deep in a drawer somewhere. This is an interactive 'game' whose plot is dependent upon the user's choices. If you decide to go left at a fork in the road instead of going right like you did the first time around, then the storyline will be entirely different. What does all this mean??? The movie will be played over and over, and the resulting word of mouth (a huge ingredient in retail sales) will be a driving factor in the success of their product.

I was a part of the demographic that those Bantom 'Choose your own adventure" books were intended to target years ago. And let me tell you, that series was a huge success among people of my age.
