I like the look of MPS:

DTBS on 4/23/99 after printing 10, broke through BRL @14, has just reversed into a column of O's after printing 15. PO is 29.50. Fair fundamental value is 24.41. Close today is 13.38. I bought today @ 13 1/8 and am willing to take more of a position if I get the opportunity.

My opinion is based on the following:

The NYSBP is in X's, Bear Correction @ 56+%, and the sector for Business Products is in X's, Bull Confirmed @44+%, the negative is that RS = Sell, 08/04/98; column = Os -This is as a result of the stock losing ground since the CEO was busted for solicitation;

whilst I won't say that was the only reason for the decline, I will say that it obviously contributed to it, however the integrity of Dewan, in my opinion, should not be questioned. The CEO today was awarded 1999 Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award.

The company was just mentioned on Forbes list of the 500 most profitable companies:

>>Forbes Magazine ranked Modis Professional Services No. 262 on the magazine's Forbes Profits 500 list of the 500 most profitable large publicly held companies in the U.S. during 1998. MPS also
received a ''Super Ranking'' of No. 509 on Forbes' 1998 list of the best-performing, largest American corporations based on a composite of sales, profits, assets, and market value.<<

>>MPS provides professional business services, consulting,outsourcing, training and strategic human resources. For the fiscal year ended 12/31/98, sales increased 46% to $1.7 billion. Net income from continuing operations before extraordinary item rose 9% to $68.9 million. Revenues benefited from higher sales from Information Technology and Professional Services. Net income reflects $34.8 million in restructuring charges and costs to retain and recruit intellectual capital. <<
