Sold for ROLM 1984-1989. Sold Nortel 1989-1997. I do some consulting now and invest in communication & technology.

Was selling ACD when it included some basic call control software and an Okidata printer that output 4 reports on an hourly basis with a daily total.

My beef with Nortel and LU is the field forces just don't have the time or resource to manage call center accounts. Yes, the large centers have staff and educated managers and for the most part manage themselves. But just about every company has a call center. They need help and time.

Before I left business, regularly sold 10 agent systems for $50,000 or more. They will spend the money if taught the reasons. Then they want the ongoing services. Sold large call centers as well.

See ya.
