TA: trend line is holding, just barely. This is the only real support level I see right now. Below, the 100 day ma still sits at about 100, but doesn't look too tough. There is an old trend line which we inclined from a while ago sitting at about 92. Major support begins at about 90. If you want to see something scary, check out a weekly close chart on AOL. The chart is 90 degree incline since Oct 98. The only pause on the way up was around 90. I hate to keep coming back to the 90 level, but that also represents about 50% of the move since Oct 98.

Above, we need to close sharply above 130 (50 day MA)on heavy volume to break out of this crap we are in.

It is my belief the trendline will hold and we will gradually move higher. Case will say something soon.

There is a chance I am wrong, in which case we are headed to you know where...

Robert
I think that next week will portend the way AOL is heading. The broadband issue should settle down and AOL will trade on its merits, whatever the street perceives them to be.I look for a very interesting week.
