to the thread: i know this is HIGHLY unlikely but... wouldn't you think it would be great PR for GS to offer the 500 datek clients 100 shares of their stock? i mean it would add additional dollars to their coffers (i know as if they're in need of it), but seems like more money and great PR...a win-win for them. it seems like datek was THE ONLY on-line broker to follow thru and actually sell shares, so there's only 500 of us, not too great a number--anyway....
