Cheryl, My plumber (and neighbor and friend) tells me the the sewers here are gravity-based and don't require power to work. Is that true? Or are some sewer systems gravity-based and some not? Beats me...but I'm curious to know... doug

Consider purchasing a water filter in addition to storing water. If your stored water supply is depleted, you need a back-up. I don't know who Katadyn's customer's are ... but, here's a blurb I found on another site about Berkefeld ... They are highly recommended for "no water pressure" situations. Personally, I want more than the 2-gallons. But, you can get by on 2-gallons.
