Buffett gave an example the other day of an industry he likes... everybody ready... Steel toe work boots. Why? Because it never ever changes. Apply that standard to AT&T and see where you end up in 10 years of projections. There is no way in hell Buffett would buy this business. Oh yeah, steel toe work boots are BOOOOOR-ING. Bet they make a lot of money though. And I bet they do it every year. And I bet they don't have 3 different well capitalized industries looking to take away their franchise. JJC
