Let's see, K.... You're working with the worst case in which all of today was short covering. I don't quite see it that way. Lots of nice clean buying (ie- new buying) all day long. No games (other than making the rise slower than it should have been with that volume), no shakes. I don't think there would be many willing sellers today. If they stayed in this long, why not go another day and clear the dividend as well? All I know for sure is, my broker (the infamous E) will come in Monday am and see my fax waiting for them: "Get my f**ing dividend to me now!!!!!" (or words to that effect) ;-) Enjoy the weekend, I sure will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
