I'm not a gold conspiracy kind of guy, BUT, what reasonable explanations are there for any entity to pre-announce their intentions to sell gold? Are the central banks required to make these announcements prior to sales?

Oh, wait, I recall Warren Buffet taking out several ads in the WSJ announcing he was going to amass a large silver position prior to his buying. -gg-

Well, my June NEM 30 calls got whacked pretty good, but all of the covered calls I've been selling helps ease the pain. Have about 25% of total gold shares hedged with calls.
