It's slow once everyone comes home from work. AOL's DSL will be better.
Shhh... Kurt, you might undermine the cable community's spin on cable :-) Cable does have theoretically much higher bandwidth than DSL, but until the neighborhoods get fiber or hybrid connections (years and $$$$), cable broadband for all practical purposes does not exist except for half a million lucky people during non-prime time.

Just wait until AOL rolls out DSL this summer, and see the broadband issue disappear for another 6 months to a year.

I hear you.. I wonder if they're not regrouping at this stage. It seems from their announcements they are readying for cable content and that seems to be the best they can do .. wimp. They have been silent and its been deadly. Re: Cable. I have MediaOne and there are times when I just reload my browsers with my modem settings for faster connections.. I dont use AOL but do have an ISP + cable for our domain site and company use...

But its not AOL alone.. look at AMZN, EBAY.. GNET, CNETs etc. May is tough for tech I guess. Then theres the value thing..cyclicals, Asia bottoming, bonds and and and... seems endless.. I miss those bullrush 30 pt UP days.. Im just waiting for net to come back into favor. It may suffer first but then watch out!
