Well, SUN's vision is to give JAVA for free. Just like MSFT gave
away IE for free. It is a matter of mindshare. IE makes MSFT an
so_called internet company. JAVA will make SUN an e_commerce
company.

There is a forecast over in Forrest Research showing e_commerce
revenue will grow from $170B in 1999 to $3.2T in 2003. Now assume
SUN makes $2B out of e_commerce server in 1999. If the server revenue
remains same percentage over total e_commerce revenue, SUN gonna
make over $40B in revenue out of e_commerce server if it can maintain
the same market share. So what market cap SUNW should be in 4
years? $200B in conservative term. Then why SUN need any other
revenue source? And guys, SUNW would be worth $300/share at least
in the 4 years.

Besides, SUNW is up 2 7/16 today and it is better than MSFT.

Relax! you will early retire soon.
