I think I was responding to the idea of trustworthiness, not leadership excellence. I know I am not a natural leader. So I would not want to be my own boss, let alone everybody's. (Unless the Beltane harem sans centaur were offered as a perk.)
I do believe that if X were granted absolute power - she'd be as corrupt as the rest of us. Just a hunch.
