Doug - what type of bird would have that kind of info? I hope you're right - there seems to be a lot of naysayers out there these days. Stock rising...let's hope Mondays the day. Cheers - R.G. You need to do what you need to do Doug. This week, Tri-Vision released 2 garbage completely hypish news releases and one interview in which the CEO stated nothing of substance (for a change). Maybe there will be news, maybe there won't. I've already posted where you can find that Sharp is using a V-chip already. Maybe they will use Tri-vision's technology to test market somewhere. Who knows. This is all getting old, very old. I just can't imagine that there is any REAL news forthcoming because professional managers at respectable companies do not hype and grant interview and put out the garbage that this guy did if they have the real thing. It's just not necessary. And for the record, I believe Mr. Siddiqui (apologize if I spelled his name wrong) is incorrect with respect to his statement about 50% of all new TV's need to be V-chip compliant and that can be done as late as December. Wrong. By July 1, 50% shipped must be compliant. It sounds to me like he is trying to twist the truth into buying his company more time with shareholders. Truth is most new 1999 TV's will start to be shipped in May and June. Most if not all OEM's have already reconfigured the closed caption chip to meet the FCC standard. It makes business sense to make the change and start shipping. Since new model seasons for TV's usually begin in the spring (now), they would have to institute new lines by January which is not the way TV OEM's operate. One other innacuracy in his comments, to my knowledge there are NO TV's that are manufactured in the USA anymore, all are manufactured in Europe and Asia. Best of luck as alway Doug.
