Hi Teevee,

I think you got it all wrong. The price of the yellow is down not only due to central bk selling, massive manipulation by funds and the fed. Just look at the press releases, they are time perfectly, just when the price is starting gain momentum to the upside. If this does not tell you something, I suggest you go back to watching TV.

Cheers, Lalit Jain

The next FOMC Meeting Date is May 18

The Gold BULLS {teevee is politically incorrect to assume that bugs use gold for buying larva on the black market, where as we know that bulls in Spain are often ordained with GOLD in Bull fights} have suffered a slow painful death of a thousand cuts. Each month they get demoralized because of CB's liquidation of an asset that they presume is undervalued. Yet given the oppertunity to purchase more, they baulk. True valuation is that some day they will be right, and someday they MAY get their wish. But any drastic change in the element would have to come with an equal and opposite loss from their currency. So in reality they are fighting the US dollar short, and other currencies long. But that may result in a drop of the DOW by some 20%, which is around 2Trillion dollars of capitalization. So if I don't cry for $4 Billion Dollar Gold sale announcment, I think someone would understand.

Short answer:
Yeah I guess you can make money trading Gold. If you can get you fortune teller to call you the day before. The XAU issues were/are overvalued relative to GOLD. We can say that they were looking forward to the FOMC meeting... but I doubt it! I didn't see gold climbing much, but was hoping to hop in short. Darn Brit's worked to fast.

PS: I'm firing my fortune teller when she comes back from holidays in two years!!!
