PC DOCS Says Court OKs Rescheduling Of Sanctioning Hearing

TORONTO (Dow Jones)--PC DOCS Group International Inc. (DOCS) said the Ontario Superior Court of
Justice has approved the rescheduling of the sanctioning hearing in connection with the proposed
acquisition of PC DOCS by Hummingbird Communications Ltd. (HUMC) by way of plan of arrangement.

In a news release, the company said the sanctioning hearing has been postponed to May 25 from May 18.

It said the sanctioning hearing will be held to obtain a final order of the court approving the plan of
arrangement, assuming that two-thirds of PC DOCS' shareholders approve the plan at a special meeting to
be held May 21.

As reported, Hummingbird is offering one-third of a share for each PC DOCS share held. Open Text
Corp. (OTEX) has made a competing C$8.50-a-share cash bid for PC DOCS.

PC DOCS makes document and database management software.
