Blue, of course I was unfair to Augustine as a writer, no doubt because I simply detest his theological views. I will never forgive him for being the granddaddy of Predestination, the wickedest (in my opinion) teaching ever perpetrated (the right word here) within official Christianity. And I wish the Pelagians had won!! If they had, the subsequent development of Christianity might have been much more benign than it was. Joan P.S. I don't like the way he treated his mistress, either.
