Mike, one minor quibble re: "In fact, it wasn't until the magnitude of the infrastrcuture's drain on company's profits was fully realized that the stock increased 40% in one day. That vital information came after the stock had already increased significantly in reaction to the validation of CDMA."

Gregg Powers had posted often on exactly this point, i.e., that infrastructure was a HUGE drain. If memory serves, Gregg did not foresee the sale as a possibility but rather the dramatic impact on Q's bottom line when the damn turned the corner, i.e., stopped bleeding and began contributing to profits.
