Amen to that mike B...

Since it IS a people market, the question is whether or not the Q can continue to
attract the right people if they treat employees the way the infrastructure employees
are being treated. It's not a legal issue. It's a growth issue.


It's also a retention issue. I bet you that HR are busy deflecting
H/S & ASIC division employees wanting clarification (and amendments)
to their option grants.

Last I checked GM employs engineers too. However my point is a compromise is neccessary. The definition of compromise is that both sides give in. If those workers were laid off(what would have happened if deal hadnt gone through)they would get nothing. Seems to me the deal saved their jobs and some compensation. However I dont know full details!
