Great news for DWA and Piff fans!!!

Dorsey Wright and Associates has been nominated in Virginia for Entrepreneur of the year. Happy to find out on Friday, that DWA has made it into the finals!

From what I understand (you would have to get more details from Tommy) is DWA was nominated from an unrelated source and it was a surprise to DWA that they were selected. I don't know when the decision is finalized but I believe soon. Of course, it will be posted :-)

Personally I am very excited for Tommy. He has been striving to introduce PnF to the people who most wanted to learn, encouraging education not only to brokers but also individual investors. Tommy is truly one of those rare individuals. He really entered into this business to help people, to teach and to be an encouragement for those that have failed. He's done, I think, an impressive and admirable job. We here on SI have had the privilege of his encouragement and tutelage first hand.

Under the guidance of Tom Dorsey and Watson Wright, DWA has put together one of the finest charting databases on the internet and I'm personally proud of all at DWA for their hard work and their foresight.

You have been introduced to Tammy DeRosier here on SI. She is one of DWA's VP's, Tommy's right hand gal, and the primary (outside of Tommy) speaker for all seminars. She has been with Tommy from almost the very beginning and we should get Tommy to tell us the "Tammy" story. She is very impressive and her story is also an inspiration - it was to me (Tommy didn't know that :-)).

Jay Ball (the real one) is responsible for the database and internet. With a very small crew he has put together this very impressive database that I'm sure had a great deal to do with them getting noticed!

I'd mention all at DWA because everyone in a team is instrumental. However, they rotate because Tommy has as many as 10 interns at a time! He has found jobs for many interns and treats them like a family. I'm not sure if this was part of the recognition, but it should be.

For a friend, I am very happy. Tommy deserves the recognition for all his hard work and for the man he is. DWA deserves the recognition as a fine company and I am too happy to gush all over this thread my excitement for all at DWA.

I hope you join me in congratulating Tommy and all at DWA - and keep your fingers crossed for the final decision! Wouldn't that be a gas!!

Remember, Tommy is on CNBC Friday the 14th, 10:20 am Eastern, for a 5 minute PnF discussion with Ted David (a closet Piffer).
