To all: Regarding Q!'s asic division, does anyone know if they have their own fab (and if so, where), or do they have a cot deal with someone like TSMC?

Frank

What with things being really busy (lots of work and duties as a soccer dad) in my little corner of Swiss cheese (see GlobalStar thread), I have not been able to keep up with the QCOM posts. It has been hard enough to monitor my at-really-high-risk money in GlobalStar and Loral. Thankfully, my investments in LU and QCOM have not required as much attention, at least recently, or my daughter would start calling me Uncle Daddy again.

Dove back in the QCOM thread tonight and danced through the last 100 or so posts (missed more than 600! since last weekend.) Sure does seem like this little group keeps finding things to argue about. As one of the oldtimers (I've been monitoring this thread for about a year and posting for about 9 months -- in internet time, that's about thirty dog years) I just wanted to tell all you whippersnappers that the broughaha lately is par for the course for this thread. Be glad, for out of conflict comes wisdom.

A little drizzly off and on here, but otherwise it was a very nice day.
