Joe, No. You are wrong. Nobody at Vivus believes that they can really reap in the profits by "going it alone". After giving up the sales force last July, Vivus made it clear that their focus was on being a R&D company. Sometimes if an appropriate deal is not available the company has a choice of settling for less or going it alone in the interim. I believe that timing has always been very bad for Vivus in many ways. Having waited this long, certainly you don't expect Vivus to throw in the towel and accept some sh#tty offer/deal. I don't and if it means the stock trades under 10 for another month so what?
