Yeah, it's not a bad thought, except that it looks more and more like it's already happened. M2 has been growing at a damn good clip the past few months. The last time I looked growth was running at something like a 10% annual rate. The weird thing is that normally that kind of printing-press action leads to all sorts of nasties, but the economy isn't showing any of those signs. Can't help wondering if it's all being issued and technically in circulation, but at the same time being "warehoused" by the biggies so it's not really in circulation. Might be worth taking a closer look at some quarterlies in a certain industry...

But I'll tell you what, I bet retailers are going to have one hell of a christmas season this year. People drawing cash, but people are people, and it will be burning a hole in their pockets!

The more Paper ..................$$$$$

They print, the "Yellow" metal will soon start to look very "Glamorous" again, along with "Silver" , and we mustn't forget "Base Metals" , as NATO must begin soon to "replentish all of those "War Materials" used up in Yugoslavia!
