Jing Question ????? Yes RBOCS have control BUT do you know the companies that they are working with to get the DSL Up and Running ????????? I can give you a few and go and chart them and you will see how well these companies are doing ... COVAD ( COVD) PAIR AWRE TUTS And there are plenty more... Go take a look

Jing, you're right about the RBOCs rolling out DSL. What I meant is that AOL is rolling our their DSL-speed service this summer, to take advantage of the DSL networks being rolled out by Bell Atlantic, Southwestern Bell, and others. It's a tandem thing. AOL can not roll out DSL unless there are DSL providers out there, and the providers can not sell DSL unless there are DSL customers out there. That is why AOL initially struck a deal with Bell Atlantic, as reported in the news last January.
