Noticed this week that Fox is going to be the exclusive news provider for At Home (believe it was on Yahoo's WGNR thread, haven't mastered linking yet). Both have been mentioned as potential strategic partners and could represent a powerful alliance, one that could provide the much needed financial and marketing boost that Hal noted as priority. I agree with BAM's approach to building the business before the IPO, but how much time is available, particularly given the huge partnerships that are forming (e.g.; the Microsoft/AT&T alliance that happened this week)? We know from history that superior technology can be overwhelmed by bigger players.
