I find it interesting that the whisper number for ABTX is a five cent per share loss. Though the old consensus estimate of +0.16 is worthless, I find it hard to believe that the street is expecting such a large loss in what is historically ABTX's best quarter. I'm hoping that ABTX can manage a small profit of perhaps .02-.03. Management has stated that the company will break even (before charges) for the second half of the year. Hopefully management was lowering the bar enough so that it could exceed expectations. At any rate, the balance sheet will tell the most important tale.
