Avg. down: Good point John. When I was going through interviews during my job search last summer. A large brokerage firm asked me to pick a stock and come back with my research on why I liked this stock. During my presentation, I was asked why I would think differently about the stock. At the end they wanted to ensure that I was not emotionally attached to the stock. As they said this is the biggest reason for failure, analyst get emotionally attached to a loser.
