Jreck Acquires Food Court Systems Inc.

LONGWOOD, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999--Jreck Subs Group Inc. (OTC BB:JSUB) announced the acquisition of Food Court Systems Inc. based in Seattle, adding five more distinct brands, bringing the total to 12.

Food Court Systems Inc. provides a complete array of complementary stand-alone food concepts including Burrito Burrito(tm), Cinnamon Cindy's(tm), Paolis(tm) Pizza and Pasta, Ivars(r), Clam Chowder and Fuji Bowl(tm) Fresh Oriental.

Chris Swartz, president and CEO of Jreck Subs Group Inc. stated: ''I am very excited about our ability to deliver a complete food court concept to non-traditional locations in one complete package, both here in the United States and internationally. I believe Jreck Subs Group is the only company in America today capable of providing a complete food court concept from one franchising company.'' Swartz added, ''The Food Court System will also allow us to selectively introduce one or more of these concepts in our existing franchise based on local market needs and competitive advantages.''

Jreck intends to offer the complete Food Court Package in markets in which it now operates as well as offering the Food Court System to existing franchises.

Jreck is an acquirer of contractual royalty revenue of only well established franchises, without the franchise risks since it does not own the individual franchise. Services provided by Jreck to the franchise include consolidated administration functions such as accounting, marketing and legal; combined bulk purchasing and cross-branding two or three concepts in a single location, enabling franchises to increase sales and customer traffic.

Jreck currently represents seven distinct brands (Mountain Mike's Pizza, Seawest Sub Shops, Little King, L'il Dino Deli and Grill, Lox Stocks & Bagels, Sobik's Subs and Jreck Subs).
