DD, you may be right. Since I am a Churchill admirer, I would certainly prefer to believe so. Not being a military buff to any great degree, I cannot gainsay your assertions...On the other, Clinton has said envious things about FDR, and the way in which war assures a president's place in history, so I would not be surprised if Blair, who seems in other respects his clone, has similar feelings about Churchill...
