jlallen, Well...the endgame is almost here. This should get real interesting. If Bubba Clinton wants to win, he needs a ground invasion and it must go well. Yet, given his liberal tendencies to liquidate the military budget, it might not be possible without the reinstate- ment of the draft and massive military spending. I doubt that this air war can achieve the stated objective of removing the JNA from Kosovo and repaitriating the Muslims. Furthermore, given the KLA's stance of wanting to pay the Serbs back by ethnically cleansing Kosovo of the 200,000 Serbs and the fact that they have been killing off the moderates in the KLA, this civil war is going to go on for years. Clinton/NATO simply cannot win without a massive ground invasion and a hugh stabilization force of tens of thousands of troops in place for the next decade. Its a debacle, no matter how you look at it. -John
